Demarcation row to end soon, hopes Dahal

KATHMANDU: UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said he was hopeful that the demarcation row would end very soon in an agreement with the protesting Madhes-based parties. Speaking at a cadre training programme of his party in Kohalpur of Banke today, Dahal said the political committee formed under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa would solve the issue. He said discussions to revise the demarcation of federal units would begin immediately after conclusion of the ongoing 13th national general convention of Nepali Congress. Meanwhile, Dahal also expressed his hope that various Maoist parties would unite very soon.
