KATHMANDU: National football team member Bikram Lama on Sunday left for Indonesia to appear in trial for top flight clubs. Former Machhindra Football Club general secretary Nabin Chitrakar managed the opportunity for the defensive midfielder, who is affiliated with Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club. “Lama will appear in trial with different clubs in Indonesia and will join a club,” said Chitrakar. “He will stay in Singapore for one day to complete the visa process and reach Jakarta on Tuesday,” added Chitrakar, who had previously helped Rohit Chand and Santosh Shaukhala for trials in Indonesia. Lama was the member of the national team that won Bangabandhu Gold Cup in January and the U-23 side that bagged the 12th South Asian Games gold medal in February.
