KATHMANDU: A week-long wood art festival is being held in Kathmandu currently, on the occasion of World Wood Day. The World Wood Day is a cultural event held annually to highlight wood as an eco-friendly and renewable biomaterial and demonstrate the key role of wood in a sustainable future. In the festival, around 9,000 renderings of temples have created in the memory of the people killed in Nepal earthquakes in 2015. Here are some photos from the event:
