Jhapa, March 29 Law, Justice and Parliamentary Management Minister Agni Kharel today underscored the need of unity among the parties for effective implementation of the newly promulgated statute. “As the statute is the common achievement of all the people and the parties, unity and cooperation among them is a must for its proper implementation,” said Kharel. Speaking at a tea reception organised by Yuba Sangh in constituency No 7 of Jhapa today, Kharel said that the major opposition Nepali Congress also has to join the government for the same. “The main opposition Nepali Congress must join the government to ensure the effective execution of the statute,” he reiterated. Kharel said normalcy was returning as far as people’s lives was concerned as the strain in relations between Nepal and India was no longer there. He also said that PM KP Sharma Oli’s India and China visits were fruitful in strengthening ties between the countries. Kharel said that the recent agreement between Nepal and its neighbouring countries would contribute substantially to the development of the country. Kharel argued that the CPN-UML would establish itself as the largest party in the country.
