Hetauda, March 30 Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa today expressed dissatisfaction with the poor performance of the government. Inaugurating the district council of his party (RPP-Nepal) today in Makawanpur, Thapa said as there were several reasons for discontentment, he would discuss the problems at the party meeting slated for tomorrow in Birgunj. “We will decide about the party’s presence in the government in the upcoming days as well,” he argued. He complained that the government was performing poorly in terms of import of daily essentials and that nepotism was rampant in the administration. These, he saw as reasons why people have not felt reforms and progress of the country. Thapa’s statement comes one day after party Co-chairperson Keshar Bahadur Bista sought necessary measures from the party. He clarified that his party had joined the government to support democracy, nationalism and for the development of the country. “However, our party will not create any kind of problems while in the government or outside. One day we will revive Hinduism in the country by taking the consent of all the Nepali people through referendum. DPM Thapa called PM Oli’s recent China had visit historic. “We used to import fuel only from India, but now the door to import from China also has opened with the railways transit. However, we need to establish relations with both the countries on equal footing,” he reiterated.
