KATHMANDU: Police said that three incidents of property crime were reported in the Capital on Wednesday. Cash and valuables worth around Rs 514,000 were stolen from the rented room of Binita Acharya in Kharibot of Tokha Municipality-14. According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified persons stole Rs 10,800 in cash, 10 tola gold ornaments and four tola silver ornaments from the room of Acharya. Similarly, property worth around 120,000 was stolen from two rented rooms of the same house in Ghattekulo of KMC-32 on Wednesday. Police said that unidentified persons stole two laptops from the room of Kamal Bhattarai and a gold chain and Rs 10,000 in cash from the room of Bindu Pariya (28). Likewise, property worth around Rs 149,000 was stolen from the house of Ramesh Gurung of Kathmandu KMC-16. Two Samsung mobile phones, various gold ornaments and Rs 47,000 in cash were stolen from the house of Gurung, police said. Police said that they are looking into all cases.
