‘PM Oli’s China visit historical’

Kathmandu, April 1 Minister for Information and Communications Sherdhan Rai, who is also the spokesperson for the government, said today that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s China visit was historical. He said the agreements on transit, transport, hydro-power, investment, construction of airports, among others, signed with China were of historical importance for the development of Nepal. Minister Rai said the Cabinet members also agreed in principle to formulate bills related to the formation of Constitutional Commission, Muslim Commission, National Inclusive Commission, Dalit Commission and Indigenous Nationalities Commission as per the constitution. Meanwhile, today’s Cabinet also decided to provide Rs 10 million for the International Buddhist Conference to be held on May 19 and 20 in Kathmandu and Rs 2 million for World Hindu Conference.
