17, including ex minister, injured as eatery collapses in Dadeldhura

BHIMDATTANAGAR: Seventeen people were injured after a building that housed eatery collapsed at Amargadhi Municipality-1 in Dadeldhura in the far-western Nepal. Passengers from two buses were taking lunch at local Baitadi Samrai Hotel when the incident occurred. According to the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, two buses, with registration numbers Na 4 Kha 3197 and Se 1 Kha 916, had stopped at the place. The buses were heading to Achham from Dhangadhi. Among the injured is former Minister of State Janak Bahadur Shah. Of the injured, 11 have returned home after treatment at Sub-Regional Hospital, Dadeldhura, while others are still undergoing treatment there, said police.
