BHOJPUR: Two kids who had reportedly gone to swim in Thalaha Stream at Aurawani VDC-2 in Sunsarai district drowned, on Thursday. Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar identified the deceased as Aakash Sah (10) and Bikash Mallaha (10) of Aurawani VDC-9 in the district. Locals who had seen them while falling into the stream had managed to rescued both. However, they breathed their last on the way to a hospital in Biratnagar, added the Duhabi Area Police Office. Police said that a team of police deployed from Duhabi Area Police Office reached the incident site and completed the legal proceedings.
