14 injured in Dhading school bus accident

MALEKHU: As many as 14 persons were injured in a school bus accident near Khanikhola of Naubise, Dhading along the Tribhuvan Highway on Monday. The injured are 13 students and the bus driver. The accident took place when a truck (Lu 1 Kha 8172) en route to Kathmandu hit the school bus of the Superb Catalyst Academy. Police said that the bus driver Arjun Hamal of Thakre VDC-9 is said to be in critical condition. Hamal and a student are being treated at the B&B Hospital in Lalitpur, police said. Other students are undergoing treatment at the Shivadarshan Hospital in Dharke. Police said that they have impounded the truck and arrested its driver for investigation.
