Save Rhino-Tiger campaign kicks off

CHITWAN: The Chitwan National Park has started a weeklong drive for the preservation of rhinos and tigers. The campaign that started from Lothar Buffer Zone Users Committee in the east will be ending at Kerung Buffer Zone Users Committee of Patihani after seven days. May 2 marks two years of zero poaching and smuggling of wildlife in the national park area. The poachers had killed a rhino on May 2, 2014. Since then there was no incident of poaching and smuggling of wildlife. The campaign is being coordinated by 22 Buffer Zone Users Committees.
