Labourer electrocuted at Balkumari workshop

KATHMANDU: A vehicle workshop labourer was electrocuted in Balkumari of Lalitpur on Friday. The 34-year-old Dilip Tamang, a permanent resident of Biratnagar in Morang had received electric shock while washing a taxi (Ba 1 Ja 3510) at his workshop in LSMC-9. Police said he had received the current from a water motor. He had breathed his last while being rushed to the nearby B&B Hospital. Meanwhile, the cabbie Khenam Singh Pakhrin (34) sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment at the same health facility. Pakhrin hails from Dumberwana-15 of Bara. Police are looking into the case.
