MORANG: A person was injured in an attack by a wild elephant in the northern belt of Morang district. Police said Ganesh Bahadur Karki (40) of Madhumalla-2 was attacked by the tusker at 10 pm on Saturday while returning home from a local market and was severely injured on the head. He is undergoing treatment at Nobel Hospital, Biratnagar, the Area Police Office, Madhumalla stated.
