RASUWA: A 55-year-old woman was murdered in Rasuwa on the charge of practicing witchcraft. Tulu Sarki Thing of Yarsa VDC-9, Ghurmu was murdered on the charge of witchcraft. Police have arrested Kanchha Sherpa Thing (27), Lawang Buti Tamang (40), and Chhenarbu Tamang of the same location on the murder charge, said Abdesh Bista, Rasuwa Police Office chief. According to police, she was buried in the nearby forest after being beaten to death by the attackers.
