UML decides to continue with efforts to forge national consensus

KATHMANDU: A Standing Committee meeting of the CPN-UML has decided to continue with the efforts to forge national consensus. The meeting chaired by Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli at his official residence in Baluwatar today morning has also urged all the political parties to move ahead forging unity to carry out post-quake reconstruction campaign and to usher the country towards the path of economic prosperity. Issuing a statement, party's Secretary and Chief of Publicity Department Yogesh Bhattarai said that the meeting has reaffirmed the ruling party's stance on national consensus since the 16-point consensus inked on June 8, 2015. The CPN-UML is committed to the implementation of Constitution and the post-quake-reconstruction campaign, for which the party has also requested all the political parties to join the efforts on the same.
