KATHMANDU: A woman was robbed of her gold chain in Kapan on the northern outskirts of Kathmandu on Thursday. Police said two unidentified motorcycle-borne persons snatched away the one-tola chain from the neck of Nima Thapa (30), a permanent resident of Ratanchura-7 of Dhading district, while she was walking on a footpath near the Shiva Temple, Milan Chok in Kapan, Budhanilakantha-12, police said. The robbers fled the scene and headed to Sukedhara on a red Pulsar motorbike, according to police. While looking for the suspects, police are investigating into the case.
