Exciting treasure hunt

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) organised the sixth edition of ‘KTM Trend Presents Girls On Wheels 2016’, a treasure hunt on April 30. Women empowerment was the theme of the event. More than 120 persons participated in the competition that included some well known faces of different sectors — Seema Golchha, Director of c, Charu Chadha, Director of Media 9, and actress Reecha Sharma. To be a part of the treasure hunt, the participants had to own a scooter and only female participants could ride it, though the navigator on the back of the scooter could be a male or a female. The competition began from Civil Mall heading to Sundhara, Chabahil, New Baneshwor, Jamshikhel, Durbar Marg, Lazimpat and ended on the premises of KCM, Gwarko. Each participant had to pass through these routes solving riddles or puzzles. The participants were judged on the basis of the task done and the time of completion. Sumit Ale and Dolma Gurung were the winners — they took home two Polaroid cameras and a cash prize of Rs 20,000. Sushobhan  Shrestha and Rejima Shrestha won the second place in the competition. They won two tickets for mountain flight. Sambriddhi Singh Thakuri and Sudhir Bikram Shah bagged the third prize — a gift voucher worth Rs 20,000. — Bharati Acharya, BBA IIIrd Year, KCM
