Kathmandu, May 11 Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba today clarified his concern about Kathmandu-Nijgadh fast track construction and refuted media reports that distorted his statements at the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament yesterday on the issue. “I would like to clarify that in my statement I meant we should take into account the case related to fast track that is under consideration at the Supreme Court,” Deuba said in a press statement today. “Furthermore, my concern is that we should not extend any negative message to the investors,” he added in the statement. Some media had reported that Deuba opposed the government’s plan of constructing the fast track and pleaded to provide the construction work to a foreign company.
