WATFORD: Quique Sanchez Flores ended his season-long spell as Watford manager on the back of a 2-2 draw with Sunderland on the final day of the English Premier League Sunday. Sunderland twice took the lead at Vicarage Road, through Jack Rodwell in the 39th minute and Jeremain Lens in the 51st. Watford scored equalisers through Sebastian Prodl and a penalty by Troy Deeney. Both teams were among the pre-season favorites for relegation but were safe heading into the final weekend. Despite what looks like a reasonably successful season, Flores is leaving Watford after a year in charge, having said there has been a conflict of views with the club's board about Watford's achievements this season. Watford survived relegation with ease and reached the FA Cup semifinals.
