BHAKTAPUR: One person died and two others were injured when a bike they were riding on hit a road divider in Bhaktapur along the Araniko Highway in the wee hours of Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as biker Surendra Shrestha (27) of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality – 9, said DSP Prabin Shrestha of the Metropolitan Police Range Office, Thimi. Sanjaya Shrestha (27) of Madhyapur Municipality – 8 and Mukesh Shrestha (27) of Municipality – 9 who were riding pillion were injured in the incident. They are receiving treatment at the Nagarik Hospital. The incident occurred at around 1 am today. The body of Shrestha has been sent to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
