KATHMANDU: In a bid to address the demand of the main opposition party Nepali Congress, ruling parties have agreed to form a parliamentary probe committee to investigate into leak of vital facts and figures of budget. Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel had presented the fiscal budget in the House on Saturday. A meeting of the ruling alliance called by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday morning made the decision to that effect. Earlier on Monday, the NC obstructed the House proceedings demanding investigation into the budget leak. The NC had announced that it would not let the debate on budget begin unless the Parliament formed a probe panel to look into how media got information about size and features of the budget announcement before it was presented at the House on Saturday. Meanwhile, the House meeting called for 11 am today has been postponed for 1 pm. READ ALSO NC disrupts Parliament Govt presents annual budget of Rs 1.049 trillion
