LAMJUNG: A man received his citizenship certificate at the age of 62 in Lamjung district on Monday. Chief District Officer Mohan Bahadur GC and assistant Chief District Officer jointly handed over the citizenship certificate to Pancharam Damai of Danaigaun, Beshisahar Municipality yesterday. CDO GC said that though it was difficult to issue the citizenship certificate to the single man, Damai finally acquired the citizenship on the basis of his relative's citizenship. Until now, he was deprived of social security allowances provided by the government. Damai expressed his happiness after receiving the citizenship.
