KATHMANDU: Birat Sangraula, an emerging Nepali singer, has brought out his debut song 'Ma Ta Timrai Hu' via the video sharing website YouTube. The emerging artist said he decided to begin his musical career with a love song – despite the plethora of the genre in Nepali music – as 'the language of love is something that anybody can understand.' The song is written, composed and sung by Sangraula himself while the four-minute video is directed by Darwin Shrestha. The video shows a desperate writer wandering through the woods carrying a note book and a fountain pen imagining a girl who he believes would be an epitome of his existence. The wish from the inner core of his heart finally takes him to his love. Sangraula claims that his song is difference from other love songs as it avoids chicanery and displays straight-forwardness. 'I think the mainstream Nepali music still lacks creativity it could hav, he says, adding he wants to fill some gap. 'The industry is being showered by money rather than talent and creativity,' he maintains, 'Exceptions apply.'
