KANCHANPUR: A pillion rider died when a Mahendranagar-bound motorcycle hit a stray cow at Bedkot Municipality-6 in Kanchanpur district last night. Three persons were travelling on the single motorcycle (Se 3 Pa 8651). The deceased has been identified as Mulaha Rana (45), who breathed his last during treatment at the Mahakali District Hospital, according to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur. The motorcyclist Ramu Rana of Jaika in Dekhatbhuli-2 and another pillion rider Birendra Rana (23) of Bedkot Municipality-6 sustained injuries in the incident. All of them were learned to be drunk and the two-wheeler had met with the accident after losing control, police said.
