LAHAN: A youth who was seriously injured after being thrashed by his father died after two weeks in course of treatment on Sunday night. The deceased has been identified as Sanjeet Ram (22) of Lahan Municipality–20 in Siraha district. According to police, Sanjeet and his elder brother Ranjeet were beaten up by their inebriated father Bechan Ram on June 5. Then, the Ram brothers  were admitted to the Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar. Sanjeet breathed his last during treatment last night while Ranjeet is being treated, said Inspector Kabir Pradhan of Area Police Office, Lahan. The police have arrested the father and initiated legal action, the inspector.
