Nepali Congress obstructs House meeting again

KATHMANDU: The main opposition Nepali Congress obstructed the Parliament meeting on Friday as well. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was scheduled to respond to comments raised by the lawmakers over delay on reconstruction works. He, however, was prevented from addressing the House due to the obstruction. Lawmakers of the largest political force in the legislative body obstructed the House proceedings claiming that the Prime Minister planned to address the Parliament without holding discussions with them. The Nepali Congress has been obstructing the House meeting for the past few days protesting the government’s failure to address the concerns of the earthquake victims. Meanwhile, the next meeting of the Parliament has been scheduled for Sunday. READ ALSO:
