PARIS: Switzerland and Poland are tied 1-1 after 90 minutes and will play 30 minutes of extra time. If the teams are still tied after extra time, they will go to a penalty shootout. Jakub Blaszczykowski gave Poland the lead in the 39th minute when he sent a low shot between the legs of Switzerland goalkeeper Yann Sommer. Xherden Shaqiri equalised with a bicycle kick in the 82nd minute, jumping with his back to the net before sending a left-footed shot inside the post from near the edge of the area.
