KATHMANDU: As leaders close to NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba rejected Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara’s claim during the press meet that the main opposition party had made a written commitment to back a Maoist-led government, the seven-point agreement signed by Deuba and CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was leaked to the press. While the seven-point agreement is silent about formation of a Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government, Maoist sources claimed that there was a separate agreement, in which NC has explicitly committed its support to a Maoist government to succeed Oli’s.
