Truck hit kills biker in Butwal

KATHMANDU: A man died on the spot after a truck hit a motorcycle he was riding on at Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 7 in Rupandehi district on Tuesday.
According to the Area Police Office, Butwal, the deceased has been identified as biker Kumar Nagarkoti of Pakhapani, Butwal.
Police said that the truck (Na 4 Kha 6332) heading towards east from west hit the two-wheeler (Lu 12 Pa 6883) en route to the same direction at around 9:15 am today.
Police said that they have impounded the truck and arrested its driver for investigation.
