KATHMANDU: Minister for Water Supply and Sanitation Prem Bahadur Singh resigned from his position on Wednesday. Singh put in papers following a decision of his Samajbadi Janata Party. Singh's personal secretary Nalini Devi Singh said the party took the decision as it was not morally appropriate to hold the position in the changed political context. Singh's resignation comes just a day before the Parliament is beginning discussion on a no-confidence motion filed against the incumbent government on Thursday. Singh's party has only one seat in the Parliament.
