KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba said the recommendation of the Cabinet made today to remove constitutional difficulties was unnecessary. Deuba said so while he spoke as the last member of the Parliament to speak on the no-confidence motion filed against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the House meeting today. Deuba had seconded the motion filed by CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal. The NC President said it was natural in the parliamentary system that one who loses the majority will leave the  government, and one who gets the majority will take the charge. 'There was not any hurdle about it,' he said, 'There is no any.' READ ALSO:

Meanwhile, Deuba said the Parliament on Friday rejected three budget related bills as the government was already rendered to the minority status. 'It is not our tradition that the opposition supports the bills brought by the government,' he said, 'It was sure to happen after they (CPN Maoist Centre) withdrew the support.' He said elections at five levels - local, provincial, federal, prime ministerial and presidential - should be held to completely implement the Constitution. The NC leader also said that an absolute consensus government is impossible as opposition should exist for check and balance.
