KATHMANDU: Nepal ‘B’ won the above-50 men’s team event title of the first South Asian Veteran Table Tennis Tournament here at the National Table Tennis Training Centre on Sunday. In the final that included five singles matches, Nepal defeated India ‘A’ 3-2. In the above-40 men’s team event final, India ‘A’ beat Nepal ‘B’ 3-1. A total of 76 players from five countries — 24 from Nepal, 40 from India, six from Maldives, four from Bangladesh and two from Pakistan — are participating in the tournament that features five categories. The tournament is being organised by Nepal Veteran Table Tennis Association.
