KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress on Sunday formed a five-member panel to support its student wing Nepal Students Union to prepare its upcoming convention. According to the party central office's chief secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba formed the panel incorporating the party's Central Working Committee member Prakash Sharan Mahat as the coordinator and CWC members Kishor Singh Rathaur, Govinda Bhattarai, Guru Raj Ghimire and Pradeep Paudel as members. The panel was formed as per Article 24(6) of the party statute, according to Paudel. The panel has also been authorised to issue instructions to the NSU as per necessity.
