3 of single family killed in Makawanpur landslide

HETAUNDA:
Three persons of a single family died after a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall buried their house at Sola Bhanjyang in Bhimphedi-5 of Makawanpur district in the wee hours of Tuesday. According to DSP Bamdev Gautam of the District Police Office, Makawanpur, the deceased have been identified as Tek Bahadur Rumba (25), his wife Parbati (23) and their five-year-old son Bikash. The incident occurred at around 3:30 am. The bodies have been sent to a local health post for postmortem.
