KATHMANDU: Himalaya Airlines has chosen Amadeus as its first global distribution system (GDS) partner to distribute its fares, schedules and availability through the world’s widest network of travel agents.  The Nepal-China joint venture airline launched its inaugural flight to Doha, Qatar on May 31, and will be soon adding Delhi, Lhasa, Chengdu, Beijing, Colombo, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Dammam routes in the coming months.  The full content pact between Himalaya Airlines and Amadeus means Amadeus-connected travel agencies worldwide will have access to the airline’s full range of fares, seats and schedules under the same conditions as those offered through all other sales channels, as per a media release issued on Tuesday.
