ITAHARI: A man succumbed to injury in an attack involving a lethal weapon in Sunsari district on Saturday morning. Diwakar Rai (31) was attacked by Dirgha BK and Shakti Limbu, the residents of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-15 in the district. The duo attacked the Rai with a sharp weapon when the latter was sleeping, according to Police. Critically injured Rai was rushed to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health and Sciences where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment, police said.
