Minor swept away by Manahara, found dead

KATHMANDU: A minor died after being swept away by the Manahara River at Narephant of Koteshwor on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as four-year-old Kushal Kathayat of Gothegaun in Ramechhap district. The Kathayat family is currently residing at Narephant, KMC-35. Police said Kushal was playing when he fell into the River and was swept away by it. He was rescued near Balkumari Bridge by a local, Mahendra Khadka, at 6:30 pm, police informed. He was rushed to the B&B Hospital for treatment. However, he breathed his last while undergoing treatment there.
