CHAUTARA: The Bhotekoshi River on Monday brought down and swept away two more houses in Tatopani VDC in Sindhupalchok district. Two houses vanished after soil erosion caused by the flooded Bhotekoshi induced landslide on the river bank in Chaukidanda of Tatopani today, according to Inspector Khum Lal Bhusal at the Border Police Office, Kodari. The Bhotekoshi River has altogether swept away 97 houses and sheds in Tatopani and Bahrabise in four weeks. Landslide poses threat to a concrete bridge at Larcha along the Dash Kilo roadsection. A dry landslide, induced by last year's earthquake, had already caused damage to it earlier.
