KATHMANDU: US Ambassador to Nepal Alaina B Teplitz paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister l Dahal at the PM’s official residence in Baluwatar today. Teplitz wished PM Dahal for his successful term, according to a statement released by the PM’s secretariat. “The United States is committed to a continued partnership with the people and government of Nepal, in order to build a more democratic, prosperous, and stable nation,” said Ambassador Teplitz in the meeting, according to a statement issued by the Kathmandu-based US Embassy. In the meeting, they also discussed bilateral relationship between Nepal and the US, implementation of the Constitution and other latest political developments. PM Dahal thanked the US representative, her government and people of America for their positive support to Nepal. Meanwhile, the envoy also enquired about the Nepal's peace process, the statement read.
