KATHMANDU: A teenager has been arrested in possession of several artefacts, including hatchets, swords, knives, metal vessels and idols, from Ason of Kathmandu-27 on Monday. Police said 19-year-old Prakash Raut was carrying the artefacts in a plastic sack in a suspicious way when security personnel intercepted him and searched his belongings. Raut is a permanent resident of Sindhupalchok district and currently residing in Basantapur area of Kathmandu. According to police, four machetes, two big swords, one knife, five glass karuwas, a small copper gagri, one bronze bell, one bronze rhino idol, four bronze diyos, two small bronze idols of peacock and two small bronze idols of deer were seized from his possession.
