BAITADI: Seven people, including a pregnant woman, were injured when a bus met with an accident near the Baitadi-Dadeldhura border along the Dasharath Chand Highway on Thursday. The injured have been identified as Laxmi Khadka and Naresh Khadka of Syadi-1; Krit Bohara of Syadi-4; Lokendra Bahadur Bohara of Daulichaur-7; Nanda Devi Bohara of Shivalinga-3; Birendra Saud and Janak Saud of Purchaudi. The passenger bus (Na 4 Kha 6486), en route to Dhangadhi from Bajhang, had met with the accident as it slipped off the road while letting another vehicle pass by. They are being treated at the Dadheldhura-based Far-Western Sub-Regional Hospital, informed Constable Ganesh Bista. Condition of the pregnant woman, Laxmi, is serious and she has been sent to Kailali for further treatment, police said.
