Injured one-horned rhino to be brought to Chitwan

CHITWAN:  A one-horned rhino, who was found injured in the Tileshwor community forest of Chandrapur in Rautahat, would be brought to Chitwan for treatment. According to the Chitwan National Park Chief Conservation Officer Ram Chandra Kandel, the rhino would be brought there for further treatment under the supervision of experts. A truck has been dispatched to ferry the injured male rhino in the wee hours today, informed Assistant Conservation Officer of the Park Chandra Shekhar Chaudhary. The 15-year-old rhino was shot six times and has sustained a nine-12-inch deep injury, added Chaudhary. READ ALSO:
