Four including two minors injured in Budhanilakantha accident

KATHMANDU: Four persons including two minors were injured after a scooter they were riding on collided with a stationary taxi at Deuba Chok, Budhanilakantha Municipality in the Capital on Saturday. The injured have been identified as the scooter rider Yamuna Rai (30) of Dhapasi and pillion riders Karun Rai (20), Kirti Rai (9) and Kismat Rai (4). According to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division, the incident had occurred when the scooter (Ba 72 Pa 5270) hit the taxi (Ba 2 Ja 1807), which was parked at Deuba Chok, at around 7 pm on Saturday. The injured have been sent to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for treatment, said police.
