Kathmandu, August 23 Tushal Youth Club and Shree Kumari Club started their journey of the Martyrs Memorial B Division Football League with wins, while Bansbari Club played a goalless draw against Mahabir Club today. Tushal defeated Pulchowk Sports Club by 5-4 at the Nepal APF Club grounds in Halchowk, while Shree Kumari recorded a 2-1 win over Chyasal Youth Club at the ANFA Complex grounds in Satdobato, Lalitpur. Dorje Tamang gave Tushal the lead in the sixth minute, while Pulchowk’s Tejendra Pun levelled the score one minute later. Tushal restored their lead in the 24th minute with a goal from Sujit Gurung. Dramatically, Pulchowk’s Pun again equalised the tally in the 37th minute. Two minutes later Dinesh Henjan made it 3-2 in favour of Tushal, while Milan Gurung scored an equaliser in the 51st minute. However, Ajit Thapa of Pulchowk scored a suicide goal in the 67th minute before Sujit Gurung of Tushal added one more goal in the 85th minute. Pulchowk’s Mandip Thapa cut the deficit with one minute remaining. Similarly, Kuldip Karki scored opener for Shree Kumari in 17th minute. However, Chyasal levelled the tally in the 19th minute before Tanka Bahadur Singdan scored the winning goal for Shree Kumari.
