KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister Bimalendra Nidhi called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Thursday to brief her about his recent visit to India as the special envoy of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. At the meeting held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, DPM Nidhi apprised President Bhandari of the high-level meetings held in course of his India visit, and the compassion expressed by the leaders towards Nepal, according to the Office of the President. During the visit, DPM Nidhi had also handed over an invitation for Nepal visit to Indian President Pranab Mukherjee on behalf of President Bhandari, and discussed possible dates for the visit to India by President Bhandari.
