Four ambassadors present letters of credence to President

KATHMANDU: Four ambassadors to Nepal on Monday presented their letters of credence to President Bidya Devi Bhandari. Sri Lanka's Wellage Swarnalatha Perera, Ecuador's Mentor Patricia Villaagomez Merino, Republic of Slovania's Jozef Drofenik and Mauritius' Jagdishwar Goburdhun presented their letters of credence to the President amid a special function at the Sheetal Niwas today. While the Sri Lankan diplomat is residential, the three others are non-residential envoys for Nepal Foreign Affairs Minister Prakash Saran Mahat, Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri, Foreign Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi and other high ranking officials were also present on the occasion.
