CHITWAN: The obstructed Narayangadh-Muglin road section has reopened from around 10 am today after police cleared the landslide debris. (Updated)  Landslide obstructs Narayangadh-Muglin road RATNANAGAR: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section has been obstructed due to the landslide in Chitwan district since early morning today. Overnight rainfall triggered a landslide near Kalikhola in Chandibhanjyang VDC of Chitwan district bringing traffic to a halt since 5:00 am, said the District Police Office, Chitwan. Police have been mobilised along with a bulldozer to clear the landslide debris. The area was also suffering dry landslip and the heavy downpour throughout the night made things worse. Hundreds of vehicles leaving for Kathmandu and Pokhara from and via Chitwan have been left stranded. The Narayangadh-Muglin road is currently under expansion and even a minor rainfall leads to landslides along the stretch. It was at this same location where 25 people were killed last week when a passenger bus veered off the road into the Trishuli River.
