CHITWAN: A truck that veered off the road and plunged into the Trishuli River at Ghoptebhir of Darechok-3 has gone missing in Chitwan district on Friday. The truck (Na 3 Kha 6017) fell some 150 metres down the road and was fully immersed in the water. A police team that arrived at the incident site informed that they found the truck's number plate, some noodle and biscuit packets there. The ill-fated truck was on its way to Kathmandu from Narayangadh when the incident occurred at around 10:45 am. Number of people on board is yet to be ascertained, police added.
