KATHMANDU: The government has announced public holiday on Tuesday on the occasion of Bakra Eid, one of the biggest festivals of Muslim community. Issuing a press statement today, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) announced public holiday for Tuesday. This festival is also called Eid-al-Adha. The festival commemorates the readiness of Abraham to sacrifice his son to honor his God’s command.
