MYAGDI: One person died and five others were injured after being struck by a lightning at Gaushwara of Beni Municipality-3 in the district on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Thal Kumari Subedi (45). Among the injured Rupa Karki, Manishara Ghimire and Chinu Ghimire are undergoing treatment at the Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital while two others have already returned home after receiving treatment, police said.
